e-ternity Business Continuity Consultants Inc. is a Mississauga, Ontario based organization that provides internet based services that guarantee business continuance despite any disaster or threat. In 2009, e-ternity began to see the business case developing for the cloud. As a provider of managed services, e-ternity saw this as an up and coming opportunity to take their value based services to the next level. Part of e-ternity’s core expertise was architecting and implementing large-scale data storage, server virtualization, and data backup solutions. As a result, they were interested in owning and operating cloud infrastructure. Additionally, they clearly wanted to leverage cloud in their service offerings. The question – how to build a scalable cloud offering from the ground up, without having to over invest in hardware to get started.

In 2010, e-ternity partnered with 6fusion and became part of our Utility Computing Vendor program.  As the first iNode operator located in Canada, e-ternity played a key role in growing the 6fusion footprint internationally.
