Utility Computing Vendor
Organizations small and large continue to move to the cloud at a rapid pace. Become a 6fusion Utility Computing Vendor (UCV) Partner and join the supply chain for On Demand Computing, creating new revenue streams for your business.
The Utility Computing Vendor Program is designed for Data Center Operators, Infrastructure Service Providers, IaaS providers and others who provide and maintain large scale compute infrastructures. UCV Partners, once certified by 6fusion, become the suppliers to the iNode Network – your compute infrastructure is federated through the UC6 Cloud Platform and made available to our entire ecosystem of VARs, Service Providers, Software Vendors.
Join today to gain additional revenue for each Workload Allocation Cube (WAC) consumed in your infrastructure. 6fusion UCV Partners are not charged a fee for the Cloud Management Platform. Instead, success-based partnerships are created by tying revenue to consumption inside a UCV Partners’ iNode. Partners can choose a revenue share or fixed fee per WAC model. This helps UCV partners grow revenue in a variety of ways:
- Gain access to new markets via the 6fusion ecosystem
- Gain an “out of the box” cloud program to help build direct revenue
- Monetize unused or spare resources while you build out your direct revenue stream
Prospective companies must provide the following key components to qualify as a 6fusion UCV Partner:
- Hosting Facility/Data Center
- Network Bandwidth Services
- Hardware & Hypervisor Raw Materials
- Ongoing Hardware and Operations Management
6fusion maintains a thorough UCV certification process that a UCV must meet before federating. This includes facilities, hardware, operations and other reviews. As part of this process, we leverage our Scale Analytics tools to help build the business case for the cloud.
