RALEIGH, NC – July 26, 2011 – 6fusion, a provider of utility-metered public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, today announced it will be presenting and exhibiting at the 2011 CompTIA Breakaway Conference, August 1-4 in Washington, D.C.

6fusion Vice President of Product Management Rob Bissett will speak as part of the panel discussion “Partner of the Future: Meeting the Evolving Needs of Your Customers” on Tuesday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. This session will examine how resellers are evolving into professional services providers due to the adoption of managed services and cloud computing, plus other new business models yet to emerge. In addition, the company will be showcasing its technology throughout the conference at booth #509.

The CompTIA Breakaway Conference brings together senior level executives from the channel’s top level OEMs, distributors, value-added resellers, system integrators, independent software vendors and service providers. Breakaway is recognized by key channel executives as the place to go for enhancing channel opportunities, building partnerships, networking and previewing new products, services and trends in the industry.

Building a cloud strategy is top of mind for today’s VARs. Analyst firm Gartner predicts cloud services brokerage will represent the single largest revenue growth opportunity in cloud computing through 2015.

6fusion is 100 percent channel focused and its metering algorithm, the Workload Allocation Cube, creates a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for compute resources. 6fusion’s UC6 Cloud Management Platform provides a single console that allows IT organizations of all types to meter, manage and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructures.
