6fusion Continues iNode Network Expansion with Integral Solutions Group Node in Southeast U.S.

6fusion Cloud Computing Ecosystem Expands Geographic Coverage with Latest iNode

Orlando, FL – November 9, 2011 — 6fusion, a provider of utility-metered public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, in conjunction with Integral Solutions Group (ISG), a sponsor at this week’s ConnectWise IT Nation Partner Summit (booth 320), today announced the latest expansion of the 6fusion iNode Network with the addition of a new iNode servicing the Southeast United States.

The new node, expected to be online in the next 30 days, is housed in ISG’s wholly owned Tier IV data and business continuity center and brings the highest level of data center classification to the growing 6fusion network. The ISG iNode provides expanded capacity and geographic diversity in the U.S. for key markets in Charlotte, Atlanta, and Florida.  This new node joins the existing iNode Network which consists of nodes in Bermuda, Littleton, Mass., Toronto, and the recently added Calgary, Alberta Node.

“Becoming an iNode enables us to provide utility-based Tier IV cloud computing not only to the Southeast, but also the entire 6fusion network,” stated Al Gossett, vice president, marketing and channel development, Integral Solutions Group. “As more applications are moved to the cloud, it is critical for businesses to have partners with strong foundations they can trust. We built these foundations with our Tier IV data center services, and now we are adding to those keystones with 6fusion’s game changing software and network.”

The 6fusion iNode Network is a collection of third party data centers that provide computing resources in an on demand, pay-per-use model.  A true utility, all resources consumed in the iNode Network are measured by 6fusion’s metering algorithm, the Workload Allocation Cube, creating a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for compute resources.

“We are pleased to be partnering with ISG to expand the iNode Network in the very important Southeast region of the United States,” said Rob Bissett, vice president, product management, 6fusion. “Integral brings a world class facility and significant expertise to the 6fusion ecosystem, which translates into world class cloud services for users of the iNode Network.”
